The audience makes the performance

And this is why you spend weeks and weeks working with actors to create a performance, an experience with which the audience can engage. And this is what we heard

Our last play, HONOR, closed on February 24th at the Chain Theatre as part of its Winter One-ACt Festival. Three corporate executives debate the title word. But what our audiences kept telling us was that this word runs very thin in a workplace, that its traditional meaning — “Quality of character entitling a person to great respect; nobility of mind or spirit; honourableness, uprightness; a fine sense of, and strict adherence to, what is considered to be morally right or just” — won’t scan in the world of business. We only had three performances — that’s the reality of a festival format — and we are very eager to find a venue to stage a longer run because we think this conversation, this exchange, with our audiences is very worthwhile. If you have ideas or wish to help produce this extension, please reach out to us.
